Public briefing on Packard support of science on the Oregon coast
January 20, 2010 for a briefing on the David and Lucile Packard Foundation’s Science grant-making in partnership with the State of Oregon. The meeting will be held at the Hallmark Resort in Newport, Oregon from 2:00 to 6:00pm.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to learn more and ask questions about the organizations and projects the Foundation is funding to inform decision making in Oregon’s revision of its Territorial Sea Plan. These projects are undertaken in coordination with the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Department (DLCD) and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW). Grantees include Ecotrust, Oregon State University, Port Orford Ocean Resource Team, and Surfrider Foundation.
